FarmHouse Wins Chi-O's Philanthropy

Congratulations to the brothers of FarmHouse for winning their first philanthropy for Chi-O! The money raised was donated to the Make a Wish Foundation. Brothers helped raise money through out the week by participating in a pennys war, placed second in a limbo competition, second in a pepper eating contest, first in our sail, and did the macarana on campus to any girl wearin a Chi O shirt. The Brothers of the FarmHouse enjoyed getting our name out into the public while also raising money for a great cause. Good job brothers!

Tibetan Monks

The Men of FarmHouse were lucky and honored to host 10 Tibetan Monks for supper on Tuesday March 8th, 2011. The Monks were at NDSU for one week to complete a Sand Mandala at the Memorial Union. Opening our cultural awareness we were able to wittness a traditional Tibetan Meal Blessing and a Q&A Session after the meal. We learned of their culture, individual histories, and the religious motives behind a Sand Mandala.
